Our first time with this company. Very well run and efficient. Very comfortable coach. Extremely helpful driver called Daymond. He is jolly, amusing and is very obliging. Told us lots of information about our trips, Liverpool and Isle of Man. He took us on a guided tour with a lady who had written a book about The Beatles, this was very interesting and 2 Island tours in the Isle of Man. We saw the best sites, we would like to see more, such a stunning place of natural beauty.
Trip to anchorage Hotel babbacombe for Turkey and tinsel. The hotel was appalling stains on carpet in bedroom. Ripped seats in lounge area. The food was disgusting cabbage, cauliflower, and sprout soup served on consecutive days. Dried pollock over three days. Wafer thin processed turkey you could see through for the supposedly Christmas Dinner served with uncooked green beans. Limited entertainment. When trying to contact Dunnwood travel the phones just rang out. When we arrived back they were uninterested in the complaint. I have been on various turkey tinsel breaks this was absolutely appalling. Served better for in prisons.
Went on a holiday with Dunwood Travel had a wonderful holiday with the company very comfortable coach travel & impressed with the hotel & excursions we were took on during our holiday lovely polite staff definitely booking another holiday soon with Dunwood ...
Dunwood promote their company with their own driver and luxury coaches.. Sadly our first holiday with them was via a different company. The driver should have been more attentive. Plus points, hotel, food and hotel staff made the holiday a better experience, minus points, coach driver had no interaction with the passengers onboard the coach. Days trips were average and clumsy and limited hours to places selected. Hoping this is a one off! Could do better and will consider our holiday carefully next time as other coach companies have provided better days out. A response from Dunwood Travel only appeared after this post.
Hi there I just wanted to say that one of your drivers Charlie was extremely helpful last week when I met him at the Warners complex in Bembridge on the Isle Of Wight….I haven’t been to the Isle for years touring and Charlie really helped me out big time…he is a real credit to your company…hope he enjoys his caravan holiday next week….many thanks ????
