Holiday was OK but not brilliant at the beginning. Holiday Inn room wasn't exactly an accessible room. Toilet was too low and there were no grab rails around the toilet and no grab rails in the wet room shower area. Shower chair/commode only just about fitted in the shower area. When in a wheelchair unable to reach the hangers in the wardrobe. Also large mobility scooter that was ordered way in advance was not available on the first day so missed the day out at Bournmouth and the sealife centre. Just sat around the hotel all the first day. From Wednesday onwards everything else went OK. The mobility scooter was sorted and I just had to manage with the hotel room. Care team were excellent.
I visited this site this evening as I have just received a marketing email offering a large discount and I wanted to check if people's experiences were better than my holiday with this company had been over 2 years ago. I went to the Hilton Hotel in June 2022 and found the hotel facilities to be exactly as Darren Chilton, who posted on this site a year later, described them. Other things were wrong too but I won't give chapter and verse here. I left the holiday after a day and complained vehemently and was given a full refund,even though I began my complaint by saying I did not want a refund in order thst the management would be very clear that my complaints were genuine. I just wanted them to investigate and improve. I tried to speak to Angus but was never put through to him. The concept of these holidays is good and an essential service but responsibility must be taken to ensure that accomodation is suitable. The food should also be commensurate with the hotel. At the holiday Inn it was dreadful, one could not order from the hotel menu and the manager advised me that Limitless have a small budget for food. Please do your own research before booking, checking with the hotels directly
I did the highlands of Scotland experience with Limitless on my own. I was so frightened but was immediately put at ease when I got to my pick up point. The entire holiday was fantastic and I didn’t feel I couldn’t manage once. There was a small hiccup with my room but was very quickly sorted out by the team leader Megan. For anyone thinking these holidays are expensive, I can assure you that you get your moneys worth. The care is exceptional and the excursions are worry free and wonderful. I will be booking again ASAP. Thank you Limitless for giving me a freedom I didn’t think I’d ever have.
