We abruptly had no power to any sockets in kitchen and living room. Terrible timing at 5pm on 28th December, especially with a hungry 1 year old and our regular electrician being away for Christmas. John came out to us an hour or so after we called him and did an amazing job investigating and eventually finding a loose connection at the opposite end of the house. John was very professional and explained everything perfectly. We were very impressed at the service and the reasonable charges. Thank you very much John!
Absolutely fantastic service. I rang John at 10.35 am on a Thursday after an electrical fault tripped our power. We work from home, so we were in a panic as we had no hot water, power, or WiFi. John asked for some details of what had happened over the phone and said he would be there around midday. He explained all the charges on the phone. At exactly 12.01. John knocked on the door. His call-out fee was much less than we expected to pay, and he explained that the call-out fee was for 1 hour of fault finding and repair. It took over an hour to find and repair the fault which he did brilliantly. We expected to pay the additional cost given that the hour had passed, but John refused and charged us only for the hour. Being a women-only household, we often find that we get overcharged due to our lack of knowledge about technical work like the wiring, but John was extremely respectful and explained what he was doing throughout. We will book him for all future electrical work. 10/10 service. It really does restore your faith in tradesmen when you meet people like John. Thank you.
On a Thursday evening we lost all power to the most used areas of the house, hob, cooker, boiler and shower. Called Emergency Electrician 24/7 and spoke to John. He said he would be there within the hour. 20 minutes later he was here. John gave the system a thorough check, found the problem and got the power back on. John was a thorough and professional electrician with a friendly nature. His call out fee was reasonable and he didn't charge any extra for rectifying the fault. He's now in my phone and my go to person for any electrical problems in the house. Excellent service. I would highly recommend John to anyone.
