Went to Halfords 20 minutes before they closed as I had a headlight bulb out and needed it replaced. Was not expecting to get it fitted due to the time but Zak fitted it for me. What an obliging young man and very thorough. A credit to Halfords.
Who ever was there on till on 15th July 2023, morning 8.30 am was very rude. He cancelled service booking saying its shirt staffed, which is understandable. But the way person talks is very rude and aggressive. He also spoke very rude to a lady who said I have a kid to look after and hence cannot change dates. @halfords please keep polite and professional staff on your till.
We booked a service slot online for Saturday, when arriving was told two staff not showed up for work and turned me away, seemed like a common problem on the weekend yet they still take full bookings, don't agree with that policy, if you know staff are not coming in you shouldn't fully book, thanks for wasting my Saturday morning! Be aware
The below review was 10 months ago. I had to get some work done on my car and the customer service was really good. The work carried out was really good and the best price compared to other quotes I was given. Absolutely poor service here. Didn't even get a chance to walk in to enquire about tyres. Got turned away because apparently they were too busy. This being while 2 of the staff were just chatting away
Had a booking booked from 8th May for mot and service. On the actual day, arrived early to be told can’t do service. Which is fine as unexpected situations happen. Was told mot not booked for 10 although text stating otherwise. Was then told to come back at 12, as the main guy has decided to start late today (no mention of handing keys over just to come back at 12) went back at 12 to be told can’t be seen today. Complete waste of time. To be fairly honest soon as I walked in I knew the gents were in no mood to do my car although booked two weeks in advance. Highly recommend if you’d like couple hours wasted 5* if that’s what you’re looking for.
